VIDEO: Wishing You a Wildcat Holiday

The JWU Wonderland Chorus with Wildcat Willie

12/17/15 | As the entire Johnson & Wales University community heads into a much-welcomed holiday break, we’d like to give thanks for a successful year.

We asked Wildcat Willie and a choral supergroup made up of members of the JWU Players and the JWU Vocal Ensemble to set a festive mood with a special JWU version of “Winter Wonderland.”

Take it away, #JWUCats! (We think you totally knocked this one out of the park.)

In addition, here are some festive scenes from our campuses.

  • 4-6: From the recent Kwanzaa celebration and drum circle at JWU Providence’s BRIDGE Center.
  • 7-9: The Providence Campus’ annual Celebration of Light, which took place on December 10. (Kwanzaa + Light photos by Mike Cohea.)
  • 10: Festive Wildcats in front of the beautiful North Miami tree.
  • 11: JWU Denver students, Professor Woolever + therapy dog Nestor brought holiday cheer to patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado. They also handed out children’s books written by Professor Woolever and autographed (pawtographed?) by Nestor!
  • 12: JWU Charlotte hosted the 9th Annual Holiday Meal for Neighbors in Need, serving over 400 hot meals! Pictured: President Mock with some of the student volunteers.

See You in 2016, Wildcats!
Wishing everyone who is part of the JWU community — or thinking about becoming a Wildcat — a wonderful holiday season and a healthy, happy New Year. We can’t wait to see what 2016 holds!
