Sorrento is a town in in Campania, southern Italy. It is a famous tourist destination which is about 30 minutes train from Castellammare di Stabia. The town overlooks the Bay of Naples as the key place of the Sorrentine Peninsula, and many viewpoints allow sight of Naples itself, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri.

It was my first time to visit Sorrento. It is a small town with amazing scenery, and the streets are very clean. The central area in Sorrento is called Piazza Tasso. There are various shops and restaurants and shops around Piazza Tasso. After we arrived, we walked around the local shops and some sights. In the Park of Villa Communale, we can see the view of the Gulf of Naples with the volcano Vesuvius.

Marina Grande is the port of Sorrento. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the port from Piazza Tasso. You can also use the elevator in the park. It may takes about 20 seconds to get to the port. The water was very clean that you can see many small fish and crabs. The town was so clean and beautiful and I will never forget.
