Blog 5-Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento Coast & Il San Pietro Di Positano

Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento coast is a beautiful 150 room property situated along the coast stretching from Castellammare to Sorrento. Being a IHG brand, it is a flagged franchise drawing in IHG guests from all over the world. Mostly focused on corporate and business groups, Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento also services leisure and travel guests who are looking for a reasonably priced location which services to standards that are “expected” from Crowne Plaza properties.

Our tour was given by the corporate business and sales manager, who gave us the advice that dedicating yourself to a job which challenges you every day is critical. He has a zest for his hotel, what it represents and the businesses of which it provides guest services—-the five beautiful conference/meeting rooms (including outdoor patios), the luxurious spa services, prime location, great outdoor areas/pool and on property restaurants. With the rebranding of Crowne Plaza, the hotel has moved up in ranking and is continuing its stride in becoming one of the area’s best.

Moving down the coast towards Amalfi, the small sea town of Positano lies balancing over the sea. Just a short walk from the town on its own Cliffside is the jewel of the Amalfi Coast—the Il San Pietro Di Positano. This breathtaking property offers guests the most luxurious accommodations and unparalleled, personalized service. In fact, this boutique property boasts five stars and inclusion with Relais & Chateaux. Complete with private beach and extensive gardens, this top tier getaway focuses on marketing to elite guests looking for an escape.

Both properties were located just outside the main attractions and marketed towards those looking for a restoring getaway. Although on two different ends of the spectrum both were completing successful, profitable business in their respectable segments. Hotels focused on what they do best and staying true to their corporate culture are always those which leave a name for themselves across the industry—and the customer base
