Aralyse Johnson

My name is Aralyse Johnson, and I’m a senior studying Sports, Entertainment, Event — Management (SEEM). I’m interested in both the sports side of my major and the event management portion. For my future career, I’m hoping to either go into event management in a stadium or arena or into meeting/ conference/ event planning for a corporation. These are two very different areas of the major, but I’m equally interested in both at this point. It’s classes like JWU's Directed Experiential Education that allows me to expand my knowledge and help me figure out what I want to do once I graduate.

My DEE Experience
During the spring and fall terms, I took part in a Directed Experiential Education (DEE) class that planned JWU’s 5th Annual Sports, Entertainment, Event — Management (SEEM) Leadership Conference, which is run entirely by students. It’s classes like this that allow me to expand my knowledge and help me figure out what I want to do once I graduate.
