Wheat Stalk 2018 Brings Bakers, Educators + Entrepreneurs to JWU

2/1/3/18 | For 3 days this February and March, the center of the bread universe will rise over Johnson & Wales University’s College of Culinary Arts (JWU) in Providence, RI: 150 artisan educators, bakers, chefs, and food professionals will convene for WheatStalk 2018, which runs from Tue., Feb. 27-Thu., March 1.

JWU Wrestling Takes Center Stage at Inaugural Downtown Showdown

2/9/18 | For the first time ever, collegiate wrestling took the stage at the Providence Performing Arts Center for the Downtown Showdown. The fourth-ranked Johnson & Wales University wrestling team toppled local rival No. 20 ranked Roger Williams University, 28-12, on Thursday, February 8.

Women's Volleyball Set to Play NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal Thursday

With a dramatic, five-set win over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this past Sunday in Providence, the Johnson & Wales University women's volleyball team advanced out of its National Collegiate Athletic Association regional bracket and opens play Thursday in the NCAA's Elite Eight. The undefeated Wildcats will play Thursday (8pm ET) against tournament host Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., with a chance to advance to the national semifinals.

NCAA Selects JWU Providence to Host Women's Volleyball Tournament

11/6/2017 | The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced today that Johnson & Wales' Providence Campus will host Elms College, Wesleyan University, Wellesley College, Tufts University, UMass Boston, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Maine Maritime in the first round of women's volleyball tournament play beginning Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12.
