Women's Volleyball Set to Play NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal Thursday

With a dramatic, five-set win over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this past Sunday in Providence, the Johnson & Wales University women's volleyball team advanced out of its National Collegiate Athletic Association regional bracket and opens play Thursday in the NCAA's Elite Eight. The undefeated Wildcats will play Thursday (8pm ET) against tournament host Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., with a chance to advance to the national semifinals.

NCAA Selects JWU Providence to Host Women's Volleyball Tournament

11/6/2017 | The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced today that Johnson & Wales' Providence Campus will host Elms College, Wesleyan University, Wellesley College, Tufts University, UMass Boston, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Maine Maritime in the first round of women's volleyball tournament play beginning Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12.

Men's Basketball Debuts in NCAA Regional Rankings

2/16/16 | Providence men's basketball earned the program's first NCAA ranking earlier this month.  Johnson & Wales' men's program is currently ninth in the Northeast Region. The Providence women's program, which is currently tied for first place in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), also made the cut and is currently ranked seventh. Johnson & Wales is one of only 4 schools to have both of its women's and men's programs in the rankings.
