Wildcat Willie Takes on Boston Bruins Fan Fest

The Boston Bruins Fan Fest Tour made its stop in Providence on Sunday, August 25, and Wildcat Willie was there to join in the fun. As the official education partner of TD Garden and the Boston Bruins, JWU was excited to have the Bruins just a few blocks away from its Providence Campus at the Alex and Ani Center.

College is a significant journey. It’s a time for change, growth, new experiences and even a little self-realization. This has certainly been true for Ruth Solomon ’19. The Student Activists Supporting Sustainability (SASS) club president and recent Centennial Woman of the Year winner has had an interesting journey before, during and hopefully after her time at JWU.

A Breakdown of JWU’s Incredible Performance at the DECA Conference

Earlier this month, 59 JWU students headed down to Orlando, Florida to take part in the 2019 DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC). There were 27 students from the Providence Campus, 24 from the Denver Campus and eight from the North Miami Campus. The conference included 50+ competition categories, professional workshops and the elections of national officers. Two JWU students from the Providence Campus, Drew Duboff ’20 and Max May ’21, were both elected as national officers.

Scholar Day Connects Thankful Students with Scholarship Donors

3/7/19 | Ninety-three percent of all JWU students receive institutional scholarships and/or grants from the university, amounting to more than $20 million in endowed scholarships awarded universitywide each year — and that makes for a lot of room to say thank you.
