JWU ADTEAM is On a Roll as They Head to National Final

When it comes to the American Advertising Association’s (AAF) National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), there’s a lot of secrecy. Teams are given numbers rather than names and must remain anonymous, and their campaign details cannot be revealed until the conclusion of the NSAC in June. However, without giving away too many details, students shared what it’s been like to spend the last eight months preparing an advertising campaign worthy of competition. And, strangely, it involved eating a lot of hot dogs.

Finance Students Head Back to High School — This Time As Mentors

In the finance world, there’s a lot going on in April. It isn’t just that time when people rush to file their taxes before the deadline, it’s also Financial Literacy Month, a time dedicated to programs and initiatives that teach people more about personal finance. JWU students have been a big part of this effort in Rhode Island, and last week six of them were honored at the State House for their work with the Financial Literacy Youth Initiative (FLY).

JWU Students Step Up Their (Financial) Game at G.A.M.E. Forum IX

Twelve JWU students headed to NYC on March 27 to take part in the Quinnipiac Global Asset Management Educational (G.A.M.E.) IX Forum. The three-day program is a student-managed fund portfolio competition that allows students to discuss and debate the best financial practices with industry leaders from around the world.
